Coloring with the brush tip

Get smoother, more even fills with your acrylic markers

Acrylic markers give a beautiful matte, velvety finish — a few habits make it perfect every time.

Shake before each session

Shake the marker with the cap on for about 30 seconds so the pigment is evenly mixed.

Use the brush tip for big areas

Lay the brush tip on its side and color in one direction with light, regular strokes.

Thin coats, not heavy ones

On light shades (white, beige, pastels), apply 2 to 3 thin coats and let each one dry a few seconds. Thin coats dry faster and look smoother than one heavy pass.

Finish with the fine tip

Use the fine tip to clean up edges and tiny cells once the fill is dry.
